The Quantum Mirror is a mirror service that was launched on 27th Nov, 2016. , it started its operation by mirroring the Linux Mint distribution, at that time under another subdomain.

Originally, the goal was just mirroring Linux Mint, but over time the project grew out itself and became one of the most dynamically developing mirror services in Hungary. Then it was necessary to choose a new domain name.

Currently, the goal is to get as many free distributions and projects as possible on the server that do not already have a mirror server in the country, and that smaller, less popular distributions get the same opportunity during the distribution than their older, larger mates.

The service is 100% nonprofit, free for everyone and will remain so in the future.
